「みそぎ」は選挙前に済んで（いることになって）いた

永田町的には鳩山の首差し出したんだから基地問題は終了、ってことなのだろう。で、（選挙制度の問題点を割り引いたとしても）社民や共産の議席数をみれば、有権者の多くは選挙前に「みそぎ」が済んだものと認めちゃっている、と。
